Fingerprint Applicant Information Form
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation provides a national criminal record check through L 1 Identity Solutions,a private company.
To select your agency, click on the category Non-DCS Child Care Providers, then choose the appropriate applicant type, and then enter your agency ORI number.
You can also register by calling 855-226-2937, be sure to tell the Customer Service Representative your agency is under Non-DCS Child Care Providers category, then the appropriate applicant type ,Adoption. It has been most clients experience that it can be easier to make appointments for electronic fingerprinting by telephone. They will take your credit card information by phone as well. The representative will assign and time and place for you to have you fingerprints taken. The representative will ask you for thr agency ORI NUMBER which is TNCC 79079. This number connects the clients with the agency. A report will be sent directly to the agency after the TBI runs the fingerprints.
